Romania's tourist brand was launched under the logo Romania - Explore the Carpathian Garden, at the World Expo Shanghai 2010. The leaf - a graphic element powerfully anchored in Romania's nature and tradition, brings the brand's visual identity into relief.

Romania's tourist brand was launched under the logo Romania - Explore the Carpathian Garden, at the World Expo Shanghai 2010. The leaf - a graphic element powerfully anchored in Romania's nature and tradition, brings the brand's visual identity into relief.

The entire graphic symbol is intended to suggest the variety of Romania's specific geographical features and the primordial elements, earth, water, the wild, adventure, dynamism.

'I am confident that the tourist brand will be also built with the help of the tourism industry. I strongly believe that Romania is a country, which can stand out among the world's states, that it is a beautiful country, which awaits to be discovered and explored.

The tourist brand emphasizes what Romania has the most beautiful, the most interesting, the purest. It is high time the world should know us as a country of biodiversity and multiculturalism, ' said Minister of Regional Development and Tourism Elena Udrea, on the special occasion of the launch of Romania's tourist brand.
