The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE) organizes on Wednesday and Thursday in Bucharest the Annual Summit of Romanian Diplomats devoted to the subject "Romanian diplomacy: 2011 priorities.'

According to a MAE, the event this year will be an opportunity to thoroughly analyze Romania's foreign policy goals, the appropriate instruments for achieving them, as well as the most efficient ways to join countries in partnerships aimed at addressing the current European and global challenges.

The Romanian Diplomacy Day is celebrated every year in September and on the same occasion, MAE organizes the annual summit of the Romanian diplomats, which occasions an objective review of the Ministry's activity in the past year, the analysis of the challenges Romania has to face in the future, as well as the identification of the main directions of action for MAE.

Invited to attend the annual meeting of the Romanian diplomats were representatives of the Presidential Administration, members of the government and Parliament, of the diplomatic corps accredited in Bucharest, representatives of academic circles and of the civil society.
