The three remaining groups are for the reform of the local self-government, group for the provision of public services and group for communication.

President of the Kosovo interim government Hasim Taci said that the activities of the six groups will be monitored by a special financial fund.

With the strategy for the northern Kosovo, the Kosovo interim government and the International Civilian Office intend to integrate the northern part of the province, where Serbs are a majority population.
