A delegation of the Italian-Serbian Chamber of Businessmen visited Pirot to discuss the potential of all four municipalities in Pirot County for inclusion in the two countries' economic cooperation.

A delegation of the Italian-Serbian Chamber of Businessmen visited Pirot to discuss the potential of all four municipalities in Pirot County for inclusion in the two countries' economic cooperation.

The director of the Municipality Center of the National Market of Goods and Services in Pirot, Mladen Krizan, said that the Chamber representatives were introduced to the economic potentials of Pirot, Dimitrovgrad, and Bela Palanka municipality.

Chamber GenSec Petro Vacchiano said that they have already seen some of the tourist potential, and that they would also learn about the production in some companies.

The Chamber's visit to Pirot County was organized by the Municipality Center. The Chamber delegation also visited some companies in Pirot, Dimitrovgrad and Bela Palanka, as well as some monuments and Stara Mountain.

The Chamber was founded in March 2002, as the ItalianYugoslav Business Association, which in 2004 became a Chamber of Commerce.

The aim of the Chamber, which has 200 membercompanies, is to promote the economic and cultural cooperation between Italy and Serbia through direct investments and partnership.
