Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Affairs Ivica Dacic declared on Sunday that the Albanian and Serbian issue in the Balkans remains unsolved.

Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Affairs Ivica Dacic declared on Sunday that the Albanian and Serbian issue in the Balkans remains unsolved.

“In fact, we witness the establishment of Great Albania. The Albanians already have a country, now they have Kosovo and establish a second one, and probably they will form a third one in Macedonia,” Dacic remarked.

According to the minister, the current situation in Kosovo will probably made Serbs in the Republika of Srpska consider their own independence, too.

“Since Kosovo separated from Serbia, why not Serbs in North Kosovo separate from Kosovo,” Dacic said, recommending talks to be started so as to see whether this is possible to happen.

Dacic blames all state institutions, including the government of Slobodan Milosevic, for the current state of things.

He said further that the Serbian society is not brave enough to conduct policy, which will give Serbia a place in the new reshuffle in Balkan’s map.
