In the absence of the highest state leaders Fatmir Sejdiu and Hashim Thaçi, who are currently located in USA and Qatar, respectively, the Head of the Kosovo Assembly Jakup Krasniqi was the highest state official at the improvised podium at the opening of the building of Mother Theresa Cathedral in Pristina.

In his speech, Krasniqi said that Mother Theresa was a symbol of the humanity and the religious tolerance which characterizes the Albanian nation.

Meanwhile, Kosovo Mufti Naim Tërnava requested a mosque facing the Mother Theresa Cathedral.

The head of Islamic Community of Kosovo made this request during his speech at the Cathedral’s inauguration event yesterday.

In a separate box in Koha Ditore under headline Blerim Shala and Nexhat Daci reconcile in the cathedral, it is reported that even at the start of the inauguration of the Mother Theresa Cathedral it has achieved a reconciling effect between the people.

Blerim Shala and Nexhat Daci are reported to have become friends on Sunday in the cathedral.

The Deputy Head of AAK and the head of LDD talked and laughed together as they did not have any disagreements, unlike before the independence of Kosovo in the time of the existence of the Unity Team.
