Leaders of the ruling coalition of Moldova - Alliance for European Integration (AEI) - made the final decision to dissolve the current Parliament of Moldova. This, they said last night after a meeting in the State's residence, reports UKRINFORM, with reference to Moldova.

Heads of the four parties forming the Alliance, have signed an appeal to the Constitutional Court of Moldova for the dissolution of the main legislative forum of the republic. According to the leader of the Liberal Party, acting President of Moldova Mihai Ghimpu, treatment is likely to be filed on September 7, and within ten days of the Constitutional Court will give an opinion on a finding of circumstances justifying the dissolution of the current parliament."We will wait for the conclusion of the court, and then again hold a meeting to set a date for early parliamentary elections", - said Ghimpu.

However, representatives of the ruling alliance did not name a date when they wanted to hold early parliamentary elections. However, they noted the need for consultations among themselves and with European partners and the parliamentary opposition.

Meanwhile, the opposition Communist Party of Moldova (PCRM) announced that it is ready for dialogue with the AEI, but only in the future legislative forum. However, all four members of the Alliance were skeptical of such a declaration of the Communists.

The decision to dissolve Parliament in Moldova, followed the failure of the constitutional referendum, which took place last Sunday. It was submitted the question of changing the way of electing the president of the country - from voting in the Parliament to direct popular elections. However, according to preliminary results, the plebiscite never took place because of low turnout.
